The Department of Biochemistry II takes charge of the lectures and laboratories on biochemistry and molecular biology for the first- and second-year medical students.
Research:
Our major research projects are:
1. Molecular mechanisms of the regulation of vascular network formation.
2. Roles and molecular basis of neuro-vascular interactions.
3. Mechanisms of regulation of alternative pre-mRNA processing.
4. Molecular mechanisms of development of eye diseases.
